Prince Edward County High School’s newly elected FFA officers attended COLT (Chapter Officer Leadership Training) this past Wednesday at Dinwiddie High School.
The officers joined FFA members from across the region to collaborate, strengthen their leadership skills, and prepare for the year ahead. The training provided an opportunity to learn new ways to serve and support the Prince Edward FFA chapter throughout the school year.
This year’s Prince Edward FFA officers are President Mason Sudesberry, Vice Presidents Lukas Wright and Mckinzie Keating, Treasurer Ta’Myah Jordon, Sentinel Sariyaa Harris, Reporter Alana Gutillo, and Secretary Arianna Somers
Dr Jones stated, “I am proud of our FFA officers for taking this opportunity to grow as leaders and prepare for a great year. I look forward to seeing what they accomplish.”
With a new team of officers ready to serve, Prince Edward FFA is looking forward to an exciting year of leadership, service, and growth.
The chapter’s first fundraiser of the school year begins October 1 and will feature oranges and other assorted fruits. For more information about the fundraiser or FFA programs, please contact Mr. Newman at jordan.newman@pecps.k12.va.us.
