Purpose:

The instructional mentors bring evidence-based practices into classrooms by working with and supporting teachers with the goal of increasing student engagement, improving student achievement, and building teacher capacity. Instructional Mentors provide support to classroom teachers to ensure high-quality instruction in classrooms through modeling, co-planning, and providing feedback to teachers.  The Instructional Mentors also provide individual and group professional learning along with personalized, 1:1 support to teachers based on the goals, requests, and identified needs of individual teachers.
