The PECMS Boys Basketball team was recognized during the MS sports banquet. They had an amazing season that concluded with a second Southside Middle School Conference Basketball championship! Congratulations to the coaches, players, cheerleaders, and the amazing fans!

Prince Edward County Public Schools Supervisor of Food Service, Bruce Davis, along with his colleagues, participated in the annual School Nutrition Association of Virginia Lobby Day held in Richmond. During this event, the team engaged in discussions with state representatives to emphasize the importance of providing nutritious meals to children and to express support for HB 686 and SB 283. These bills, if passed, will enable school districts across Virginia to offer free breakfast and lunch to all students, irrespective of their household income. Currently, all Prince Edward County Public Schools provide free breakfast and lunch to students.

Great news! The Lady Eagles won the Quarterfinals against Greensville High School yesterday. They have now qualified for the Semi-Finals, which will take place at John Marshall High School on Thursday, February 22nd, at 6:00 pm. Please note that tickets must be purchased online in advance.
